Adding a Custom Link

Open Link Editor
- Click the floating "+" button in your dashboard
- Select "Add Custom Link"

Fill in Details
- Title (required): What visitors see (e.g., "My Portfolio")
- URL (required): Where the link goes (must start with
https://) - Description (optional): Additional context or call-to-action

Save
- Click save and your link appears on your profile
- It's instantly live!
Link Fields Explained
Title
- Character limit: 60 characters
- Purpose: The clickable text visitors see
- Best practices:
- Be clear and descriptive
- Use action words (Shop, Read, Watch, Download)
- Keep it concise
Examples:
- ✅ "Shop My Merch Store"
- ✅ "Download Free Guide"
- ✅ "Watch Latest Video"
- ❌ "Click Here" (not descriptive)
URL
- Format: Must be a valid URL starting with
http://orhttps:// - Purpose: Where visitors go when they click
- Supported destinations:
- Websites and landing pages
- Blog posts and articles
- Social media posts
- YouTube videos
- PDF files and documents
- Online stores
- Calendly and booking pages
- Literally anything with a URL!
Tips:
- Always use
https://for security - Test the link before saving
- Use shortened URLs for tracking (bit.ly, etc.)
- Include UTM parameters for Google Analytics
Description (Optional)
- Character limit: 160 characters
- Purpose: Additional context or call-to-action
- When to use:
- Explain what visitors will find
- Add urgency ("Limited time offer!")
- Provide additional details
Examples:
- "Free 30-day trial, no credit card required"
- "New blog post about productivity hacks"
- "Limited edition merch - only 50 available"
Managing Your Links
Editing a Link
- Click on the link in your dashboard
- Update any field (title, URL, description)
- Save changes
- Updates appear instantly
Deleting a Link
- Click the delete icon (trash can) next to the link
- Confirm deletion
- The link is removed immediately
Note: Deleting a link is permanent and you'll lose analytics data for that link.
Reordering Links
Your links appear in the order you arrange them:
- Click and hold the drag handle (⋮⋮) next to any link
- Drag the link up or down
- Release to drop in the new position
- Order updates instantly
Strategy: Put your most important links at the top!
Link Appearance
Links adapt to your selected theme:
- Button style: Solid, outlined, or glass effect
- Colors: Theme colors or custom colors (Premium)
- Size: Standard or large
- Icons: Add emoji or icons for visual appeal
Different themes offer different styles:
- Minimal: Clean text links
- Bold: Large colorful buttons
- Glass: Modern translucent cards
- Gradient: Eye-catching gradient backgrounds
